I really have enjoyed this book. It’s great for someone new to wine making like me at age 60. Last night I followed the watermelon recipe and it was easy to follow. This will be my fourth batch of different wines.
The other 3 are about to be bottled and tase great! Perfect beginner book!

Glancing through the recipes I didn't find it all that impressive. I have other references that have a variable selection and helpful to me

This book is packed with helpful info on winemaking. Teaches you the where what and why of wine additives and ingredients. Along with helpful hints and tips for both beginners and advanced winemakers. This book is primarily centered around fruit wine recipies with some grape ones mixed in. I recommend this book for its wide array researched and time tested wisdom. A must buy for the beginner.
