Product Details

This deep, densely purple-colored Malbec boasts aromas and flavors of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant, with hints of violets and plums and a touches of leather and tobacco, and sometimes a hint of cinnamon. With lots of juicy fruit on the palate, its tannins are gentle and sweet and lead to a spicy finish of tannin and subtle oak.
It is the ideal wine to go with grilled or stewed meats, or pair it with robust dishes like smoked, cured beef or charcuterie, burgers, venison, or aged cheddar.

We just bottled this wine and the samples were a pleasing, dark red wine with soft tannins. We are looking forward to serving this with some grilled burgers and getting our guests responses. First time making this kit and it was a success as were all the other kits from Midwest that we have made.

Great wine with a robust flavor. Will let age a while before consuming and looking forward to it. This is probably the 6th time I have made this kit and it is a go to wine with friends and family.

First batch

Picked this for our first batch of winemaking. Just bottled it and we were surprised when we tasted it how drinkable it was already. Can’t wait to try it again after a few months of aging in the bottle.

"drinker bottle" tasted pretty good - will be even better with age

at bottling, the last bottle ends up not being full so I call it the drinker bottle and drink it up that day : ) The wine tasted pretty good but I will wait at least two months before we open up a bottle. Believe it will taste better with aging. I would make this kit again.
