We got this yeast strain out of Wyeast’s Private Collection! This is a Wyeast exclusive strain that was selected from their extensive yeast archive and repropagated for homebrewer’s like you. The North American Lager is best used for Pre-Prohibition Lagers, International Pale Lagers, American Lagers, American Light and Dark Lagers. A traditional culture of North American and Canadian lagers, light pilsners, and adjunct beers. Mildly malty profile, medium ester profile, well balanced. Malty finish.
