I have made alot of white wine over the years and this kit was, at best, average. The sugar content of the starting juice was a bit low than has been typical for kits I've purchased in the past. The product one-week post-bottling had a slight bitterness to it that I've not experienced prior.

I was a little skeptical, having bought these kits when they had more concentrate. But this tasted no different than any of the other Sauvignon Blancs I've made over the years. Easy peasy, too.

My first attempt at a varietal wine. Was surprised at how easy the process was and how good the wine turned out. Better than several store-bought bottles I compared it against. In fact, among the best sauv blanc I’ve had outside of those from New Zealand.

I haven't made this white wine yet, but I'm working through the reds I ordered so that they can sit in a bottle until next Christmas. Those kits (a Pinot Noir and a Cabernet Frank) show a lot of promise even at this young stage. I was very happy to find a Cab Frank in my price range. Thanks!
