This Proof and Tralle Hydrometer is a professional grade hydrometer that has a scale that goes to 200 proof. It is used to calculate proof in higher alcoholic beverages as it is not accurate for lower alcohol products like beer or wine.

Note: NOT FOR USE WITH BEER OR WINE.

Easy to use hydrometer makes quick work of checking proof of distillate, just be gentle with the hydrometer and treat it with care and it should last a long time. I heard a great piece of advice regarding it, order 2 and you'll have 2 forever, but if you order only 1, then it is bound to break and you'll end up ordering more.

This is not for wine!!

I was hoping to know the alcohol content of my wine. This measured proof. Which was 0-15 for wine. Not what I wanted.
