I hook up and disconnect at least 2x per day. Super easy to use and even my spastic son can do it.

After a long day at work, I discovered that there was a catastrophic failure in my draft system. These are decent quality gas connects, No issues when they are hooked up but about half of mine have slow leaks when disconnected and gas is on. With that in mind a valve assembly for each line is necessary if you don't always have them hooked to a keg. The Poppets are plastic with a standard oring that is replaceable. The Barb is a true 1/4 so 3/16 will fit if the hose is pliable enough and 1/4 is a no brainier. I Do not believe 5/16 will work reliably even with hose clamps. The Barb appears to be stainless as i haven't noticed any loss in the surface condition. Current brand as of this review is CMB.

I know, gas disconnects aren't sexy, but what can you say about them._x000D_They are priced right and do what they need to do._x000D_It's not necessary to waste your time hunting around...order these and be happy!
