Built on a big foundation of malt with strong tones of biscuit and toffee, the Honey Ale plays up the fruity, caramel aspects of English malt and yeast. But much like the Founding Fathers would have spiced up traditional style ales with homegrown ingredients, a late addition of pure honey adds a revolutionary twist.

Good, malty beer.

Great kit - like every kit I’ve used from Midwest Supplies. Relatively malty with a very slight honey note. Better served cold as it becomes overly malty bordering on sweet when warm. Modest hop flavor. A bit darker than shown in the picture more of a dark ale than a light amber ale with a flavor profile to match.

Pleasant, easy drinking beer

This is a decent well rounded beer. I think the next batch will have just a little more honey added to it, but not much. As it is, it is a good beer and well worth your time to make it.

This is by far the most popular beer I make for my friends. Seems to be almost goof proof (knocking on wood) as I have made this kit three times now and it’s worked out all three times now. I recommend this kit for everybody
