Product Details

Purpose-designed from head to toe. Constructed from food-grade PET, the revolutionary Big Mouth Bubbler® Plastic is a virtually indestructible fermentor. Equipped with 3” thick anti-flex ribs, a punted bottom and decreased base diameter for extreme strength and durability. Featuring gallon graduation marks for instant volume measurements. Its smaller footprint preserves precious brew cave space and allows for convenient storage inside a standard brewing bucket. And, of course, its revolutionary wide mouth eliminates glugging and enables hands-on cleaning for a faster, cleaner clean. Finally, get your hands wet.

We have thoroughly planned out every last feature of this innovative product, right down to it’s physical construction. After untold amounts of research into the properties of PET plastic, we fanatically chose to make the Big Mouth Bubbler™ with as little plastic as possible while still maintaining a high degree of structural integrity and brute strength. What does this all mean? It means that the impact to our planet Earth is as minimal as possible. We call this a win-win situation. Check out the Plastic Big Mouth Bubbler™ for yourself. You will never go back to a traditional style carboy again.

**Important Note: Do not fill any Plastic Big Mouth Bubbler® fermenters with very hot liquid - temp should not exceed 140 degrees Farenheit (60 celcius)

You will also need a Small Universal Carboy Bung (not Included) - drilled or solid. The Carboy Dryer is compatible with the Big Mouth Bubbler® when used in an inverted position.

Big Mouth Bubbler

A fellow home brewer told me about this carboy as a means to easily use whole hops to dry hop my beer. I am very pleased!

Big Mouth Value?

Everything about the company service was great. The only problem is that they are pricing themselves out of competition and I believe folks will need to begin looking for other fermenting vessels. The price they are asking for a flimsy plastic bucket is outrageous! I have a dozen or so of these, and the quality seems to be getting worse as the price rises. Oh... and the lids seem to not fit properly any more. I have issues with them popping up on their own.

Normally good check for quality

I have ordered many of these before but this last order. I got the side walls were thin in spots. Making me fearful for how long they will last.

This is my second. I got the first one when the original screw ring lids were still available. I wish they still were. I've looked everywhere for one for this one to no avail. The originals took some adjustment to flatten the disk and some getting used to how they seal. Also, the new one came with a 1/2 turn valve, but the hole was not drilled. I bought this second one because they perform well and I
can watch the fermentation progress. If you get one, make sure you clean {disassemble) the valve after each brew. I had to dump a keg recently because of infection from dirty threads on the valve. It's my first dump since I started brewing in 2015.
