Plastic Top Wine Tasting Corks are used in place of the regular cork once the bottle has been opened to help preserve the wine for a few days. Once a wine has been opened oxygen will quickly start to oxidize the wine, and a tasting cork will not stop this process, but it will help slow it down. This gives you more time to finish the bottle of wine.

Note: We do not recommend using plastic tasting corks in place of standard corks for storing wine.
