It cools the wort rapidly. It rinsed quickly and easily in cold water. This is easier than using an ice bath and cools two gallons in under 10 minutes.

I had previously been wort chilling by ice bath immersion, so this was a major step up from that! My only complaint is that the coils are pretty short in height, so they sit at the bottom of my 5 gallon bucket. Since hot water rises, after about 5 minutes the bottom of my bucket is completely cooled, the top is still boiling hot, and there's no convection happening. I have to manually hold the wort chiller up towards the top of my bucket to finish the cooling process.

The chiller works perfectly and helped my bring my wort temperature down to temp within 5-10 mins. I can’t believe that I hadn’t gotten on sooner, I’ll never brew without it again.

What can I say performed as designed. My only issue was hoses were a tad too short. But if I had used iin my kitchen vs my man cave they would be sufficient. had one small drip on supply side connection which was just a lose ferrel. I actually startled myself when I grabbed the chiller output and it was hotter than I expected so I turned up the flow. My only complaint was that I couldn’t get the wort temp lower than 100. But that is because my cold water temp is 100. But that isn’t the chiller fault.

Cleaned easy and used the box it was delivered in for storage. Now a week later my fermentation chamber smells delicious and my air gap is bubbling away.
