En Premier Chili Malbec

I am getting ready to start this kit and find out there are no instructions included. I find it very frustrating and when I try to print off the instructions, it doesn't print the page very well and some of it is not on the paper.

Lack of information

I have purchased products from Midwest Supplies before. It was disappointing to note that there was no mention that the kit mixing instructions were not included with the product anymore. Hence while I have past experience making wine, having the inst's is always helpful. To know that I needed to contact Widwest Supplies to ascertain instructions is not very customer-oriented.

Good kit for the price!

This Malbec is true to the grape. Has that rich and slightly smoky flavor that Malbec drinkers love. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the wine is just a bit "flat" and seems to lack some acids that good Malbecs exhibit. We are drinking it young, though; perhaps it will acquire some bite with age, but I doubt it. Apart from that (or maybe because of that) its easy on the palette and pairs with wide variety of foods. Very people-pleasing.

Very good wine

I am ordering this wine kit again as we have been enjoying our last batch (we age in bottles for a year.) I agree that for the price, RJS should include bottle labels and printed instructions. Do not understand why they don’t do either. This is a premium wine kit.

RJS cutting corners?

I thought no printed instructions was just an oops, but I see someone else commented on them missing, & no labels either! I’m due to bottle tomorrow, I hope RJS didn’t cheap out on the kit quality as well!
In the past this has been a very good kit- I’m hoping …
