Let's start with the bad. The kit was has no instructions. Just a QR code that sends you to a website with multiple instructions, but none for my wine specifically - minus one star. Fortunately, this isn't my first rodeo, so I figured it out. Then there were no labels. Really $135 and no labels??? Minus one star.

The good: I made the wine with no idea what the OG was supposed to be or how long is was supposed to ferment... again, no instructions. However, with an OG of 1.102 and a FG of 1.000. After a 15 day primary and a 42 day stabilizing and clearing the ABV came out to 13.39, just right for this wine. The wine has a nice aroma and plesent flavor. I'm not much of a dry wine fan, I made this for my wife. She and her friends love it. I had them do a taste test with 5 other bottles. Three were $20ish and two were $10ish. This one was rated number two out of six in their tasting.

Side note: I love all the five star ratings left by people who note in their rating that they have yet to make or taste the wine 🙄

Come on now; we don’t drink wine in pints. Can’t say how this batch will turn out, but I’ve done the Ontario Sauv Blanc numerous times and it is a favorite. I’m drinking some right now from a batch I made a year ago. Yeasty bugs are busy working on this new vat and I’m sure it will be delightful.

I’m not much of a white wine drinker but wanted to have something on hand for those who prefer it but I must say this wine has made me a fan. Very good tasting !
