The Ball Check Valve screws into the regulator body or Wye adapters.It prevents liquid from backing up and entering the gas lines or regulator. The thread sizes for this valve are 1/4" NPT x 1/4" MFL.

Cheap Insurance

This check valve is inexpensive and provides cheap insurance for your regulator. Very quality product and easy to install. Recommended for any regulator without a check valve built in.

good addition for wye splitter

I added this with a wye splitter to a dual pressure regulator to split a gas line. The regulator already came with a ball check valve so this had to be added to the splitter._x000D__x000D_I ear clamped the air line straight to the end of this and it appears to be sealed well.
