I use this 3/8" barb for my automatic line cleaning setup. My hoses for my setup use 3/8" hose and then I can connect directly to my 1/4" mfl keg lines.

Works as advertised. I did use some Teflon tape to ensure a good seal. I am using this to provide CO 2 for my portable Kegerator. (2 3-gallon kegs inside of a cooler.)_x000D_Anyways I would most definitely and by this again if I needed another one._x000D_

Had to purchase this item with the 3/8" barb even though the liquid side of my kegging system (and most others?) uses 1/4" ID tubing. You can make it fit after lots of expletives, sweat, and sore fingers! Not sure why it's so difficult to find a 1/4" barb in these types of fittings, am I the only one?_x000D__x000D_Note: I found it easier to push the 3/8" barb into 1/4" line by screwing a female beer thread fitting onto the threaded side to help push through and to use food safe keg lube on the barb side.
