Anvil Brewing and Fermenting

Been brewing for 7 years or so, about 20 batches or give or take - 8 using the Anvil system. It's a joy to use and makes giant clean-up a thing of the past. My brews are much more consistent and sticking to the recipes are much easier. Pot and cooler mashing was so tough to keep the temperatures stable, but with the recirc pump, it's almost automatic. Step mashing is very easy and it's all I do. Beer is so much better and my friends devour it in a short time (maybe not the taste but the level of alcoholism?!)

Brewed for fun prev., extract only. All grain jump was daunting. Tried Picobrew early and had fun, tried a few manual brews and got tired of the drama. Enter AF... It made me realize how much I didn’t know about brewing, and it was still fun. My first brew is fermenting, the process was laid out clearly and I still managed to fall behind, but it was fun, and that’s what brewing is for me. As long as it doesn’t get infected, it’s still beer so it’s almost always a success. I look forward to my next brew day.
