Ingredients
- 12 oz thick-cut bacon, cut in half
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup finely ground coffee
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- ¼ cup chopped pecans

Coat each piece of bacon in this mixture, then lay pieces on a wire baking rack. Place rack atop baking sheet lined with foil for easy cleanup. Pat any remaining coffee mixture onto the bacon.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until desired crispness. Top with chopped nuts for the last few minutes in the oven, then enjoy!
About the Chef
Sebastian DesotelleTrue confession: I don’t have a daily coffee habit…For me, coffee – and especially really great coffee – is made to be savored. So I always look for ways to highlight the sweet, roasty notes of coffee in my homebrew and on my table.
